NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Evansville, Ind. native and high school junior\u00a0Elizabeth Broshears\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her in-state verbal commitment to the Indiana Hoosiers for the fall of 2020.<\/p>\n

Broshears swims year-round with the Boonville Aquatic Dolphins and owns the U.S. Open cut in the 100 fly with five other Winter Juniors (or faster) standards. She most recently competed at Juniors East where she recorded a best time in the 100 free. She was the 100m fly runner-up with five other top-15 finishes at the Indiana LCM Senior Championships before racing four events at Junior Nationals. She was also a six-time finalist at Indiana SCY Seniors in March.<\/p>\n

Broshears is a four-time Indiana State Championship finalist for\u00a0Reitz Memorial High School.\u00a0She was the 50 free runner-up and took third in the 100 fly as a sophomore after placing fourth and seventh, respectively, in those events during her freshman season. She has also earned both NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors during her career.<\/p>\n
