NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Jefferson, Georgia native\u00a0Jackson Harvin\u00a0<\/strong>has elected to stay in-state for the fall of 2019 with his recent verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.<\/p>\n

Harvin swims year-round with Athens Bulldog Swim Club and owns the Winter Nationals cut in the 200 IM with a Winter Juniors cut in the 200 free. He most recently competed at Juniors East earlier this month where he finished 13th in the 200 IM and 20th in the 200 free. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American raced five events at the Georgia LCM Senior Championships this past summer and posted five top-20 finishes at Greensboro Speedo Sectionals in March.\u00a0Also swimming for Jefferson High School, Harvin finished third in the 200 free and 13th in the 200 IM as a junior at the Georgia 1A\/5A State Championships.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n
