NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Michigan has earned a 2020 verbal commitment from Gilbert, Az. native and high school junior\u00a0Kalli Fama\u00a0<\/strong>who will join\u00a0Casey Chung<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

Fama swims year-round with\u00a0Rio Salado Swim Club and owns four Winter Junior cuts. She competed in four events at Junior Nationals this past summer after winning the 200m back with four additional top-8 performances at the Arizona LCM Senior Championships. She won both the 200 free and 200 back at Arizona SCY Seniors in March and had four second-swims at Four Corner Speedo Sectionals.<\/p>\n

Currently a junior at Perry High School, Fama is a six-time Arizona State Championship finalist.\u00a0She won the 100 free and was runner-up in the 200 free as a junior, and the NISCA All-American also\u00a0won the 200 free and was the 100 back runner-up during her sophomore season and\u00a0finished second in the 100 back and fourth in the 200 IM as a freshman.<\/p>\n
