WELLA Hartig, the mother of swimming greats Aaron and Hayley Peirsol, joins today&#039;s edition of <i>The Morning Swim Show<\/i> to talk about her new book that details a life of raising two accomplished athletes. <\/p>\n<p>Hartig&#039;s book, &#8220;Buoyant,&#8221; focuses on the lessons she learned while raising her children as a single mother for a time, and how she was able to deal with the sudden success of her children in the pool. Hartig said she always knew her children were destined to be great swimmers, since she nurtured that idea while they were in the womb, but she still had no guide to becoming the parent of two very visible athletes, hence the reason for wanting to write the book.
