18-year-old\u00a0Erica Sullivan\u00a0<\/strong>of the Sandpipers of Nevada posted a 15:36.52 on Sunday at the King Marlin Pro-Am Classic in Lewisville, Texas. That time puts her third all-time in the 17-18 age group for that event as she improved on her best time of 15:40.42 from last year’s Winter Nationals in December 2017.<\/p>\n

Sullivan sits behind\u00a0Katie Ledecky\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Katie Hoff\u00a0<\/strong>in the all-time rankings as she previously sat in sixth place.<\/p>\n

Sullivan also swam a 4:37.95 in the 500 during the meet, which would put her seventh in Division I and 30th all-time in the 17-18 age group. Her previous best was a 4:38.13 from the 2017 Winter Nationals.<\/p>\n

Erica Sullivan also swam a 9:17.32 in the 1000 free<\/a> on the first night of the meet.<\/p>\n

2016 Olympian\u00a0Cody Miller\u00a0<\/strong>also swam in the same meet in Texas, as he made his return to the competition pool for the first time since this summer’s Nationals. Miller has indicated in his vlogs and podcast that he has been battling an injury this year.<\/p>\n

Miller did not put up anything spectacular this weekend, managing a 54.76 in the 100 breast and a 1:57.01, well off his 50.82 and 1:49.31 best times. Miller finished behind Texas grad\u00a0Will Licon\u00a0<\/strong>(1:52.55) in the 200 breast and also behind Licon in the 100 (51.80). Both Licon and Miller will be swimming together at the Pan American Games<\/a> in the summer of 2019 in Lima, Peru.<\/p>\n
