The pair led their competition by 46.35 points in the preliminaries and continued to find success throughout the finals with strong, consistent dives. The pair inched up to first in the third round when a forward 3 \u00bd pike scored 72.90 points. Bromberg and Young remained at first through the rest of competition, as they were able to give themselves enough distance from Gilliland and Schnell following a strong inward 3 \u00bd tuck scored 78.72 points in the fourth round. Gilliland and Schnell wrapped up finals at second place with 584.76 points, just 16.56 points behind first.
