It will be a weekly series where our head video producer\u00a0<strong>Andy Ross\u00a0<\/strong>will travel around the country to tell the stories of the swimmers and divers you don&#8217;t know much about.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Previous Ross Report episodes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ep. #1:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ross-report-episode-1-kaersten-meitz-never-thought-she-would-make-it-to-this-point\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kaersten Meitz<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Ep. #2:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ross-report-episode-2-zane-grothe-found-the-right-fit-for-himself-in-bloomington-indiana\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Zane Grothe<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This week&#8217;s Ross Report focuses on the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/uc-san-diego-women-indianapolis-men-take-over-top-spots-in-division-ii-poll\/\">number one ranked team<\/a> currently in Division II.<\/p>\n<p>The Greyhounds have had a meteoric rise to the top of Division II as they placed 15th at the NCAA&#8217;s in 2016. In 2017 they were 11th, and in 2018 they were 3rd. This season, they have already taken down the four-time defending national champions Queens, and have achieved the number one ranking.<\/p>\n<p>And yet, according to seniors\u00a0<strong>Guilherme Zavaneli\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Rodrigo Codo Berti<\/strong>, as well as sophomore\u00a0<strong>Adam Rosipal<\/strong>, there is still more work to do.<\/p>\n<p>The Greyhounds are coming off their first ever <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/division-ii-weekly-recap-uindy-men-upset-drury-in-first-conference-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">men&#8217;s conference title<\/a> in school history last season after they took down Division II powerhouse Drury at the GLVC Championships last year. Drury was the last men&#8217;s team to win the national title in 2014 before Queens rattled off four straight titles.<\/p>\n<p>Last season, the Greyhounds were third at the NCAA&#8217;s behind Queens and Cal Baptist, as the latter has since moved up to Division I. This season, without Cal Baptist to worry about, the Greyhounds have already beaten Queens in a head-to-head matchup, but the Indianapolis swimmers know that winning the national title will not be easy, and their competition won&#8217;t just come from their rivals in Charlotte.<\/p>\n<p>The expectations are high for the Greyhounds, who have returned all of their scorers from the Division II NCAA&#8217;s a year ago.
