Just .02 behind him in second was\u00a0<strong>Vlad Morozov\u00a0<\/strong>(45.64), who won the 50 free over Dressel earlier in the meet. Morozov will still finish off the year with the fastest 100 free in the world with a 44.95 from earlier this year during the FINA World Cup.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dressel\u00a0(on how much energy he has after such a busy week): <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u201cI actually feel alright right now. It was a long meet, but I\u2019ve had meets where I was a lot more tired. This went smoothly. I\u2019m happy to be done, don\u2019t get me wrong \u2026 but it was a great performance all around from everyone on the team and it was really exciting to be a part of that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dressel\u00a0(on takeaways from his week in Hangzhou): <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u201cI feel like I\u2019m in really good shape. They were pretty sloppy to be honest, a lot of them. I feel like I got better as the meet went on because that was faster than the first day of the meet tonight, so I think I was getting better every day. The speed was not quite there, but like I said I think I\u2019m in really good shape. My last 50 was really good in the fly and the free, so I\u2019m not worried about anything and it will be fun year next year at Worlds.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Morozov was actually out almost a half second ahead of Dressel (21.39 to 21.86), but Dressel had the fastest second 50 of the field (23.76) to pull off the win.
