Superman has bested one of Aquaman\u2019s records. Apuada caught the nation\u2019s eye last August when he downed Michael Phelps\u2019<\/strong> 10-and-under 100 meter fly meet record at the 2018 Far Western Long Course Championships with a 1:09.38, making local\u2014and national\u2014headlines.<\/p>\n

Phelps had held the meet record since 1995 with a 1:10.48. Apuada would go on to win seven events! After he broke Phelps\u2019 record, Apuada was thrust into the spotlight and quickly learned how to compose himself for important interviews with various media outlets such as NBC, ABC, CNN, USA Today and more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
