She is now sixth all-time in the 15-16 NAG rankings as she jumped 1988 Olympic gold medalist <\/span><b>Janet Evans <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(4:37.30) from 1989. Smith is behind some elite company with <\/span><b>Katie Ledecky<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Katie Hoff<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Dagny Knutson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Tracy Caulkins <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Kate Ziegler <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sitting in front of her.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Smith is not normally known as a freestyler, making the last two major international teams in the 200 back. She is not swimming backstroke this weekend but she is still dominating the meet thus far in Austin. He won the final with a 4:16.95, improving on his 4:18 this morning, where he dropped five seconds. Carrozza dropped a whopping eight seconds off his entry time coming into the meet as he had a major breakthrough swim in Austin. He is now 36th all-time in the 17-18 NAG rankings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Carrozza won the final over <\/span><b>Peter Larson<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a Texas commit, who took the lead early but ended up fading over the back half as Carrozza pulled away. Larson was second at 4:20.31, a personal best time for him, as he came in with a 4:24.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finishing in third was <\/span><b>Jude Williams<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who finished strong with a 4:21.89. She could not catch the overall meet record set by <\/span><b>Alex Walsh <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(1:53.69) earlier tonight. Hartman moved up to 12th all-time in the 17-18 NAG rankings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hartman pulled away from the leader at the halfway point, <\/span><b>Katharine Berkoff <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">from Missoula. He was chasing Foster\u2019s meet record as well as <\/span><b>Michael Andrew\u2019s <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15-16 NAG record in the event of 1:42.77. Urlando fell short of both records, but still put up a respectable 1:42.99, which would put him seventh in Division I this season. He is only a junior in high school and has already committed to the University of Georgia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Urlando was well in front of the final with <\/span><b>Shane Blinkman <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">coming in second place at 1:46.05, slightly slower than he was in this morning\u2019s heats.
