Pebley is the top seed for tonight ahead of\u00a0<strong>Christopher Reid\u00a0<\/strong>(2:00.54) and\u00a0<strong>Kane Follows\u00a0<\/strong>(2:00.62).<\/p>\n<p>Pebley is coming off a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/jacob-pebley-dabbles-in-freestyle-with-200-free-national-title\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">200 free win<\/a> last night, the first in his career.<\/p>\n<p>More Olympic Trials cuts were achieved in the 200 back with\u00a0<strong>Jay Litherland\u00a0<\/strong>(2:01.58) and\u00a0<strong>H<\/strong><strong>arry Homans\u00a0<\/strong>(2:02.67) getting under the cut.\u00a0<strong>Nick Vance\u00a0<\/strong>(2:03.28) and\u00a0<strong>Hennessey Stuart\u00a0<\/strong>(2:03.73) will have another chance at it tonight in finals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Markus Thormeyer\u00a0<\/strong>and Reid were under the cut but represent Canada and South Africa internationally, so they are ineligible to compete at Trials. Manuel is ahead of a solid field with\u00a0<strong>Margo Geer\u00a0<\/strong>(54.31),\u00a0<strong>Anna Hopkin\u00a0<\/strong>(54.54) and\u00a0<strong>Amanda Kendall\u00a0<\/strong>(55.03) following her.<\/p>\n<p>All eight of the A-Finalists qualified under the Olympic Trials cut.\u00a0<strong>Gabby DeLoof\u00a0<\/strong>(55.48),\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky\u00a0<\/strong>(55.58) and\u00a0<strong>Grace Cooper\u00a0<\/strong>(56.23) all got under the standard this morning and qualified for the final. Chadwick was a 49.27 while Dutch Korstanje was a 49.99. Flickinger is seeded over four seconds ahead of\u00a0<strong>Olivia Bray\u00a0<\/strong>(2:12.54) and\u00a0<strong>Alicia Finnigan\u00a0<\/strong>(2:12.97).<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the top eight qualified for Olympic Trials with the exception of international swimmers\u00a0<strong>Mabel Zavaros\u00a0<\/strong>(2:14.07) and\u00a0<strong>Meg Bailey\u00a0<\/strong>(2:14.13).
