NEW COMMITS:\u00a0<\/strong>Chelsea Piers Connecticut is proud to announce that nine athletes from the Chelsea Piers Aquatics Club (CPAC) will continue their swimming careers at DI programs next fall. \u00a0The swim team began in September 2012 and has grown into one of the strongest programs on the east coast recognized\u00a0annually by USA Swimming as top-50 club nationally for 18 and under swimmers.<\/p>\n

Chelsea Piers athletes have full access to both off-surface training, led by certified personal trainers in our dedicated Competitive Team Training Center, and on-surface coaching in their sport of choice. Our world-class facilities attract top-level instructors from around the world, including seasoned and certified youth coaches with Olympic, NCAA and professional backgrounds. Chelsea Piers Connecticut is the home of Chelsea Piers Aquatics Club (CPAC), one of Connecticut’s most successful competitive swim teams. CPAC offers opportunities for all levels of swimmer from the seven-year-old beginner to the 18-year-old National Qualifier.\u00a0 Every aspect of a swimmer’s career is considered, including but not limited to: nutritional education, mental approach to training and racing, dry land exercise (including injury prevention circuits and strength & conditioning routines), and a strong emphasis on technical proficiency in the water.<\/p>\n
