NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Frisco, Texas breaststroker and high school junior\u00a0Jadyn Jannasch\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her verbal commitment to Louisiana State for the fall of 2020. Her older brother,\u00a0Jack Jannasch<\/strong>, is currently a freshman on the Tigers’ roster.<\/p>\n

Jannasch does her club swimming with Lakeside Aquatic Club and owns the U.S. Open cut in the 100 breast and the Winter Nationals standard in the 200 breast. She raced both breaststroke events at Junior Nationals after recording a best time at Austin Speedo Sectionals. She competed in three events at Juniors West last winter and earned the silver and bronze, respectively, in the 100 breast and 200 breast at College Station Speedo Sectionals in March.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Frisco High School, Jannasch is a four-time UIL Texas 5A State Championship qualifier.\u00a0She finished second in the 100 breast during both her freshman and sophomore seasons.\u00a0Jannasch has also earned NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors during her career.<\/p>\n
