NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Herndon, Va. native and high school junior\u00a0Brynn Curtis\u00a0<\/strong>has given Auburn their second verbal commitment for the fall of 2020.\u00a0She will join\u00a0Colby Hurt<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

Primarily a breaststroker, Curtis does her club swimming with York Swim Club and owns the Junior National standard in both breaststroke events. She concluded her long course season with a ninth-place finish in the 200m breast at Juniors after recording 100% best times at Potomac Valley LCM Seniors. She finaled in the 200 breast at NCSAs in March and notched three lifetime bests at Potomac Valley SCY Seniors.<\/p>\n

Also representing Oakton High School, Curtis is a four-time Virginia 6A State Championship finalist. She finished sixth in the 100 breast and ninth in the 200 IM as a sophomore after placing 12th in both events during her freshman season.<\/p>\n
