She placed tenth in the 200m free at Junior Nationals this summer after racing two events at Phillips 66 Nationals a week prior. She won the 200 free at Juniors West last winter and posted six top-8 finishes at Carlsbad Speedo Sectionals in March.\u00a0She also represented Team USA at the 2017 USA World Junior Championships where she swam on the 4x200m free relay in prelims.<\/p>\n<p>Also swimming for Santa Margarita Catholic High School, Ristic is a three-time\u00a0CIF-Southern Section DI champion. She tied for first in the 200 free and won the 500 free as a freshman and earned gold in the 100 free during her sophomore season and was a member of her team&#8217;s record-breaking 4&#215;100 free relay.\u00a0The NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American also finished second in the 200 free and third in the 100 free as a sophomore at the CIF State Championships.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #cf0202;\"><strong>\u201cSO excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at Indiana University!! Special thanks to my family, friends and coaches for helping me get here! #gohoosiers&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 free \u2013 49.55<\/li>\n<li>200 free \u2013 1:45.76<\/li>\n<li>500 free \u2013 4:48.26<\/li>\n<li>200 IM \u2013 2:02.91<\/li>\n<li>50 back \u2013 26.08<\/li>\n<li>100 back \u2013 55.99<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When she suits up for the Hoosiers as a member of the class of 2024, she&#8217;ll join a young but talented freestyle group that includes\u00a0<strong>Illeah Doctor\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Noelle Peplowski<\/strong>.
