NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Virginia Beach, Va. native and breaststroker\u00a0Shane Catherman\u00a0<\/strong>has committed to swim for Barton College beginning in the fall of 2019.<\/p>\n

Catherman swims year-round with East Coast Aquatic Team and competed in the 100 breast at the 2017 Virginia Senior Championships before achieving 100% season best times at the New Years Extravaganza in January.\u00a0Also swimming for Kempsville High School, Catherman placed 15th in the 100 breast at the Virginia 5A State Championships during his junior season in addition to being a key member of his team’s relays.<\/p>\n

I am looking forward to the next phase of his swimming career. I would like to thank my coaches and family for being there to support me and to help get me to this point in his life.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
