Under head coach\u00a0<strong>Marilynn Fitzgerald<\/strong>, current Warrior seniors completed their perfect season and have won 60-straight meets. The runner-up spot went to Acton-Boxborough with 224 points and\u00a0Braintree swam away with the title on the boys&#8217; side with a final score of 120.<\/p>\n<p>Full results can be found on Meet Mobile &#8211; MIAA Fall Div 1 State Champs.<\/p>\n<h1>Girls Meet<\/h1>\n<h2>Top 5 Team Scores:<\/h2>\n<p>1. Andover &#8211; 519<br \/>\n2. Acton-Boxborough &#8211; 224<br \/>\n3. Newton North &#8211; 206.5<br \/>\n4. Needham &#8211; 191<br \/>\n5. Framingham &#8211; 163.5<\/p>\n<p>The meet began as the Andover quartet of\u00a0<strong>Emily Ma<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Julia Donohue<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mia Galat\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Emily Clements\u00a0<\/strong>won the opening 4&#215;50 medley relay in 1:50.06, only six-tenths ahead of runner-up Acton-Boxborough (1:50.66). Their teammate\u00a0<strong>Sydney Ho\u00a0<\/strong>dove to first on the 1-meter diving with a final score of 460.65.<\/p>\n<p>NAHS freshman\u00a0<strong>Malia Amuan\u00a0<\/strong>cruised to first in the 200 free, stopping the clock in 1:50.55 to finish three seconds ahead of runner-up Galat. Amuan&#8217;s second victory of the day came in the 100 free, where she won by over a full second in 52.23.<\/p>\n<p>Andover&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Victoria Ambrose<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/delaware-adds-verbal-from-massachusetts-state-champ-victoria-ambrose\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who will swim for Delaware next fall<\/a>, won a close 200 IM. The senior used a strong freestyle leg to claim the victory in 2:04.24, just ahead of Donahue&#8217;s 2:04.29. Ambrose also dominated the 500 free, taking the title by nine seconds in 5:05.50.<\/p>\n<p>Needham&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Zoei Howard\u00a0<\/strong>sprinted her way to the top of the podium in the 50 free in a swift 24.58.\u00a0Also getting under the 25-second barrier were Brookline&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sara Song\u00a0<\/strong>(24.70) and CHEL\u00a0<strong>Laura Latham\u00a0<\/strong>(24.87).\u00a0ABRH\u00a0<strong>Isabella Korbly\u00a0<\/strong>was the only swimmer in the field under the 50-second mark in the 100 back, doing so with an impressive 55.28.<\/p>\n<p>After swimming the butterfly leg on Andover&#8217;s winning medley relay, Galat was back in the water as she flew to first in the 100 fly with a time of 56.03. Donahue found herself on top of the podium in the 100 breast, getting her hands to the wall first i 1:05.74.<\/p>\n<p>Needham&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nina Yee<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Abigail Thress<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Emilia Higgins\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Howard posted a half-second victory in the 4&#215;50 free relay with a time of 1:41.46 ahed of Brookline (1:42.05). The 4&#215;100 free relay squad of Ambrose, Donahue, Galat and Clements secured Andover&#8217;s victory by concluding the girls&#8217; meet as champions in 3:33.49.<\/p>\n<h1>Boys Meet<\/h1>\n<h2>Top 4 Team Scores:<\/h2>\n<p>1. Braintree- 120<br \/>\n2. Methuen &#8211; 40<br \/>\n3. Weymouth &#8211; 34<br \/>\n4. Marshfield &#8211; 20<\/p>\n<p>Braintree&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nikhil Tirupithigari<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>John Harrington<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Aaron Keung\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Ethan Huang\u00a0<\/strong>began the boys&#8217; meet with a win in the 4&#215;50 medley relay in 1:56.20 to edge out Weymouth (1:57.86). The same quartet concluded the meet as champions in the 4&#215;100 free relay (3:43.48) as well.<\/p>\n<p>Methuen&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Quang Vu\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 IM in 2:13.79 and was also crowned champion in the 100 back, just sneaking under the minute-mark in 59.77.\u00a0Marshfield&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bryce Hunt\u00a0<\/strong>got his hands to the wall first in the 100 breast, stopping the clock in 1:03.33 for the win.<\/p>\n<p>After helping his team to medley relay, Harrington was back in the water to take the 50 free title in 23.39.
