Rochester Adams &#8211; 250<br \/>\n2. Seaholm &#8211; 220<br \/>\n3. Grosse Pointe South &#8211; 214<br \/>\n4. Portage &#8211; 171<br \/>\n5. South Lyon &#8211; 139<br \/>\n5. Byron Center &#8211; 139<\/p>\n<p>The meet began as Grosse Pointe South&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Renee Liu<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Clarice Fisher<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Olivia Yoo\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Hannah Blanzy\u00a0<\/strong>combined to win the opening 4&#215;50 medley relay in 1:46.61. Exactly three-tenths behind them was Holland in 1:46.91 and Rochester Adams took third in 1:48.02.<\/p>\n<p>Rochester Adam&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lisa Lohner\u00a0<\/strong>cruised to first in the 200 free, dropping just over a second off her prelims time to take the title in 1:51.49. Yoo, who helped her medley relay to gold, placed second in 1:53.10 and Portage Central&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maggie Farrell\u00a0<\/strong>was third in 1:53.16.<\/p>\n<p>Fenton&#8217;s freshman\u00a0<strong>Gracie Olsen\u00a0<\/strong>posted a three-second victory in the 200 IM,\u00a0grabbing the gold medal in 2:03.19. Silver went to Fisher in 2:06.60 and North Farmington&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Julianna Petrak\u00a0<\/strong>was awarded the bronze in 2:07.39.<\/p>\n<p>Midland Dow&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Claire Newman\u00a0<\/strong>sprinted her way to the top of the podium in the 50 free, splashing and dashing her way to the wall first in 23.08. South Lyon&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emily Kurt\u00a0<\/strong>was the runner-up in 23.73 and Portage Central&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sydney Sonday\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 24.10.<\/p>\n<p>Walled Lake Western&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kamila Podsiadlo\u00a0<\/strong>dove to first on the 1-meter board, posting a score of 414.60 for the in and a new Oakland University pool record. Northview&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lexi Mirandette\u00a0<\/strong>finished second with a score of 398.35 and her teammate and younger sister\u00a0<strong>Lacey Mirandette\u00a0<\/strong>took third with 390.35 points.<\/p>\n<p>After helping Grosse Pointe South begin the meet with gold, Fisher found herself with an individual gold in the 100 fly after getting her hands to the wall first in 54.86. 200 IM champion Olsen was the runner-up in 55.69 and Holland&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sage Gettings\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 57.29.<\/p>\n<p>Newman&#8217;s second gold of the day came in the 100 free, where she powered home in 51.19 to add that title to her 50 free one as well. Winning medley relay lead-off Liu was second in 51.66 and Kurt rounded out the top three in 52.20.<\/p>\n<p>200 free winner Lohner was back at it again, dropping three seconds from her prelims swim to win the 500 free in 4:58.17 as the only swimmer in the field under the five-minute mark. <strong>Angelina Baker<\/strong> (5:02.54) of Portage Northern and\u00a0<strong>Nikki Barnas\u00a0<\/strong>(5:03.50) of Birmingham Groves finished second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Rochester Adams&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Meghan Fleury<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Yitian Zhang<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Claire Sweetwood<\/strong> and Lohner combined to win the 4&#215;50 free relay in 1:36.76. Not too far behind was Seaholm in second in 1:36.97 and Portage Central was third in 1:37.86.<\/p>\n<p>After finishing second in the 100 free, Liu was back in the water to claim victory in the 100 back after leading the charge in 55.88. Byron Center&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Michaela Briggs\u00a0<\/strong>swam to second in 56.46 and Fleury rounded out the podium in 57.94.<\/p>\n<p>GR Forest Hills Central&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jessica Schellenboom\u00a0<\/strong>got her hands to the wall first in the 100 breast, doing so in a winning time of 1:03.88.\u00a0Petrak powered home to second in 1:05.15 and Seaholm&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kate Stanley\u00a0<\/strong>took a close third in 1:05.75.<\/p>\n<p>Portage Central&#8217;s Sonday, Farrell,\u00a0<strong>Audrey Vermeulen\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Julia Semler\u00a0<\/strong>concluded the meet as 4&#215;100 free relay champions with a final time of 3:31.51.
