His time of 23.13 edged out China\u2019s<\/span> Xu Jiayu <\/b>(23.38) who holds the quickest time in the field from the Beijing stop of this World Cup cluster. American <\/span>Christopher Staka<\/b> was third in 23.58.<\/span><\/p>\nAustralia placed a quartet of swimmers in the finals in<\/span> Mitchell Larkin<\/b> (23.92), <\/span>Tristan Hollard <\/b>(24.21), <\/span>Bradley Woodward <\/b>(24.41) and <\/span>Edward Marks<\/b> (24.48). <\/span>Mikita Tsmyh <\/b>tied Woodward for a spot in the final as well. <\/span><\/p>\nWomen\u2019s 200 Freestyle<\/strong><\/h2>\nFreestyle stars <\/span>Pernille Blume<\/b> and <\/span>Sarah Sjostrom<\/b> did not race in the 200 distance this time around, while <\/span>Femke Heemskerk<\/b> took the top seed in 1:55.98. Australian placed a pair of swimmers in the top eight with <\/span>Madison Wilson<\/b> taking the two seed in 1:57.18 and <\/span>Gemma Cooney <\/b>grabbing the eighth spot in 1:58.26. He was followed by <\/span>Kenneth To<\/b> in 1:56.27 and <\/span>Matthew Wilson<\/b> in 1:56.36. Larkin was not far behind in 1:56.53 nor was <\/span>Hsing-Hao Wang<\/b> in 1:56.58. <\/span>Travis Mahoney<\/b> (1:56.82), <\/span>Wang Shun<\/b> (1:57.05) and <\/span>Keita Sunama<\/b> (1:57.09).<\/span><\/p>\nWomen\u2019s 100 Backstroke<\/strong><\/h2>\nHosszu led a strong 100 Backstroke field in 56.92. Australia had three swimmers make the final including <\/span>Minna Atherton<\/b> (57.49), <\/span>Emily Seebohm<\/b> (58.03) and Wilson (59.50). <\/span>Kira Toussaint<\/b> (58.61), <\/span>Toto Kwan To Wong<\/b> (59.40),<\/span> Carmen Weiler Sastre<\/b> (1:01.17) and <\/span>Johanna Roas<\/b> (1:01.37) will also race in the final. <\/span><\/p>\nMen\u2019s 50 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/h2>\nAndrew claimed yet another top seed, this time in the 50 Breaststroke. He posted a quick 26.19 for the win ahead of <\/span>Peter Stevens<\/b> and <\/span>Ilya Shymanovich<\/b> in 26.33. <\/span>Yan Zibei<\/b> (26.40), <\/span>Kirill Prigoda<\/b> (26.41), <\/span>James Boyd McKechnie<\/b> (26.65), <\/span>Anton Chupkov<\/b> (26.79) and Wilson (26.85) placed fourth through eighth. <\/span><\/p>\nWomen\u2019s 50 Butterfly<\/strong><\/h2>\nSjostrom hit the pool for the first time on day two for the top seed in the 50 Butterfly in 25.02.
