NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Colorado Springs, Colorado’s\u00a0Meredith Rees\u00a0<\/strong>has committed to the University and Missouri and will join the Tigers as a member of the class of 2023.<\/p>\n

Rees does her club swimming with Pikes Peak Athletics and owns five Winter Juniors (or faster) standards with a U.S. Open cut in the 100 back. She was a six-time finalist at Rochester Futures this summer where her highest finish was a sixth-place showing in the 100m free. She placed 17th in the 100 back at Juniors West last winter and was the 50 free runner-up at Colorado Seniors with five addition top-12 finishes in February.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Lewis Palmer High School, Rees is a six-time Colorado 5A State Championships.\u00a0She finished second in the 100 back and third in the 100 free as a junior after placing second in the 50 free and fourth in the 100 free during her sophomore campaign.\u00a0The NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American also took sixth in the 100 free and eighth in the 200 free during her freshman season.<\/p>\n

“I have committed to the Univerity of Missouri because of the amazing coaching staff and the welcoming team culture. At Mizzou I will have the opportunity to not only become a better athlete, but a better person. Go Tigers!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
