NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Cherry Hill, New Jersey backstroker\u00a0Jack Watson\u00a0<\/strong>has committed to the University of Pittsburgh and will join the class of 2023.<\/p>\n

Watson does his club swimming with South Jersey Aquatic Club and is a Winter Juniors qualifier in both backstroke events. He finished seventh in the 50 back at ISCA Junior Nationals in March with a pair of additional final appearances. He recorded five lifetime bests at the 2017 Middle Atlantic Senior Championships and had four second-swims at at NASA Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Cherry Hill East High School, Watson is a three-time New Jersey State Championship finalist. He\u00a0finished ninth in the 100 back as a junior after placing 13th in that event as well as 15th in the 200 IM during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n
