Brandi brings the experience and work ethic that we need to service the growing number of those supporting ISHOF&#8221;, said <strong>Brent Rutemiller &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0CEO of the International Swimming Hall of Fame and Publisher of <em>Swimming World Magazine<\/em>.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It was announced last year on November 3rd that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/rutemiller-to-lead-international-swimming-hall-of-fame-merge-swimming-world-operations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Swimming World would merge operations<\/a> with the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Over the past 12 months, much progress has been made to consolidate these two important institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The inclusion of Swimming World properties into ISHOF\u2019s portfolio creates new opportunities and new products that will elevate ISHOF. Significant upgrades to the museum are already underway, including the conversion of parts of the Henning Library into a television studio for new multi-media programming and products. Offices are being upgraded, and new Swimming World staff will relocate to Fort Lauderdale.<\/p>\n<p>The city of Fort Lauderdale approved <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ft-lauderdale-international-swimming-hall-of-fame-aquatic-complex-gets-27-million-renovation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$27 million to renovate the aquatic center<\/a> earlier this year.\u00a0 In addition, ISHOF and the Fort Lauderdale City Commissioners came to terms on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/swimming-hall-of-fame-remains-in-fort-lauderdale-signs-30-year-leasecity-of-fort-lauderdale-signs-off-on-30-year-lease-of-ishof-pool\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">30-year lease<\/a>, ensuring that ISHOF remains permanently attached to the aquatic center.\u00a0 Look for ISHOF to set a new and exciting course, and in the meantime, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/product\/ishof-family-membership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">consider becoming a member<\/a> of ISHOF and donating
