DURHAM, NC., Feb. 2. THE Duke women's swimming and diving team closed out its dual meet season with its fourth victory of the year, defeating William & Mary 143-100 on Saturday afternoon. The Duke men fell to the Tribe,

Sophomores Lauren Hancock and Lauren Cornet were both double-winners for the Blue Devil women, who improved to 4-6 on the season. Hancock took the 1000-yard freestyle in 10:37.79 and the 500 freestyle in 5:11.19,
\nwhile Cornet captured the 200 IM in 2:05.39 and the 200 breaststroke in 2:18.57. <\/p>\n
Sophomore Amy Halligan (first, 2:07.01) and senior Paige Dommerich (second, 2:07.51) went one-two in the 200 butterfly, while senior Jen Gauger (first, 25.22) and Dommerich (second, 25.35) did the same in the 50 freestyle.<\/p>\n
The Duke men, who fell to 3-7 on the year, were led by freshman John Humphrey, who was first in the 200 IM in 1:55.58, and junior Drew Dinsick, who was first in the 1000 freestyle in 9:50.43. The Blue Devils swept the 200 backstroke, led by freshman Dave Peck (first, 1:54.16) and seniors Chris Fleizach (second, 1:55.60) and Ryan Harsch (third, 1:57.30).<\/p>\n
