It will be a week of invitationals in the Southeastern Conference this week as many teams across the SEC will participate in bigger meets.<\/p>\n
The biggest invitational this week is Texas A&M hosting its annual Art Adamson Invitational in College Station.<\/p>\n
The Aggies have made this one of the biggest invitationals in the SEC each year and there should be some pretty fast swims at the meet.<\/p>\n
Fellow SEC team LSU will compete at the Art Adamson Invitational, which is Wednesday-Friday.<\/p>\n
The Aggies will also welcome Hawaii, SMU, Incarnate Word, Air Force and Boise State.<\/p>\n
Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> leads the Aggies into the meet. She has been one of the top NCAA swimmers for three years and is poised for a strong senior season.<\/p>\n That is the biggest event hosted by an SEC team this week, though there will be a heavily SEC-represented meet on the East Coast this weekend.<\/p>\n Several SEC teams will head to the Georgia Tech invitational this weekend.<\/p>\n Florida, Alabama, Auburn and South Carolina are all slated to compete in Atlanta for the three-day meet that goes Thursday through Saturday.<\/p>\n Auburn is coming off of a loss to Tennessee last week.<\/p>\n Kentucky will head to the Ohio State invite this weekend and Missouri will host an invite from Thursday-Saturday.<\/p>\n Kentucky\u2019s Asia Seidt<\/strong> is coming off of a strong performance in her last meet.<\/p>\n Seidt won four individual events, three of those with B-cut times, to help lead UK to wins over Missouri and No. 23 Arkansas two weeks ago. She earned the gold in the 200 back (1:55.89 \u2013 11th in the nation), 200 IM (2:00.16 \u2013 13th in the nation), 100 back (53.83 \u2013 15th in the nation) and 200 fly (1:58.99 \u2013 20th in the nation).
