The ban took place Oct. 5 and Hutchison had 30 days to request an appeal.<\/p>\n<p>With no record of an appeal, Hutchison did not requested one, and now the ban is finalized.<\/p>\n<p>Hutchison was accused of sexual assault of former Olympic swimmer Kukors, who made the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2009-world-champion-ariana-kukors-alleges-former-coach-sean-hutchison-sexually-abused-her\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accusations public earlier this year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Kukors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ariana-kukors-files-civil-suit-against-sean-hutchison-usa-swimming-mark-schubert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">filed a lawsuit against Hutchison<\/a>, USA Swimming and then-USA coach Mark Schubert, claiming that Hutchison sexually assaulted her and that USA Swimming and Schubert didn\u2019t do enough.<\/p>\n<p>Schubert said that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/mark-schubert-responds-to-legal-challenge-from-ariana-kukors-smith\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he reported what he heard<\/a> about the inappropriate relationship rumors between Kukors and Hutchison, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/sean-hutchison-denies-abusing-ariana-kukors-officially-leaves-king-aquatic-club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who has denied the allegations<\/a> and said anything that happened in their relationship was consensual.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The U.S. Center for Safe Sport permanently banned former coach Sean Hutchison from Olympic sports on Oct. 5, and that ban was finalized this week.
