NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Liberty, Missouri’s Cameron Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>has declared his verbal intention to swim for the University Wyoming as a member of the class of 2023.<\/p>\n

Murphy swims year-round with the Tsunami Swim Team of KC and owns the Winter Juniors cut in the 200 fly and 400m free. He achieved 100% best times at NCSAs this summer where his highest finish was a 20th-place showing in the 200m fly. He was a six-time finalist at Jenks Sectionals in July and had a trio of second-swims at Columbia Sectionals in March.<\/p>\n

Also swimming for Liberty Senior High School, Murphy is a seven-time Missouri State Championship finalist. Most recently<\/a>, the USA Swimming Scholastic All-American was the 500 free runner-up and added a bronze in the 200 free to cap off his senior season. He placed fifth and sixth, respectively, in those events as a junior and finished fourth in both races during his sophomore campaign.<\/p>\n
