NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>UC-Davis has earned an in-state verbal from Sunnyvale, Calif. butterflyer\u00a0Ashley Ma\u00a0<\/strong>who will join the Aggies as a member of the class of 2023.<\/p>\n

Ma swims year-round with Santa Clara Swim Club and is the owner of a Winter Juniors cut in the 100 fly. She notched a pair of best times at Santa Clara Futures this summer after placing tenth in the 200m fly at LCM Far Western. She recorded two lifetime bests at Juniors West last winter and took sixth in the 200 fly at SCY Far Westerns in April.\u00a0Also competing for Fremont High School, Ma\u00a0placed 11th in the 100 fly during her junior season after placing fifth in the event at CIF-Central Coast Sections a week prior.<\/p>\n

“UC Davis has so much to offer in and out of the pool! I loved the team atmosphere, academic opportunities, as well as the amazing coaching staff.
