She had five top-15 finishes at the Speedo Midwest Challenge last fall and took ninth in the 200 free and tenth in the 500 free at Illinois Seniors in March. She competed for McHenry High School East at the Illinois State Championships as a sophomore where she finished sixth in the 100 free and 11th in the 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #b7bd08;\"><strong>&#8220;I am so excited to announce that I have committed to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Iowa! I\u2019d like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for believing in me and helping me throughout this process, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds!
