Since moving to Hawaii in 2012, she has set 46 Hawaiian age group records (16 long course, 30 short course yards) in the 10 and under, 11-12 and 13-14 age groups. Monahan was also named the high-point winner at this year\u2019s Hawaiian State Age Group Championships as well as Senior Championships.<\/p>\n<p>Head coaches <strong>John<\/strong> and <strong>Kevin Flanagan<\/strong> say that Grace\u2019s success is very predictable: \u201cShe is there every day and goes hard every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Monahan added several impressive swimming experiences to her resum\u00e9 this past summer, participating as a member of Team Hawaii at the Oceania Swimming Championships and competing as one of the youngest athletes at the Phillips 66 U.S. National Championships. At the Oceania Championships in Papua, New Guinea, she collected 12 medals (individual and relay), four of which were gold.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about Monahan and her many talents, check out the
