Dimond &#8211; 96<br \/>\n2. Sitka &#8211; 72<br \/>\n3. Eagle River &#8211; 57<br \/>\n4. Palmer &#8211; 52<br \/>\n5. Kodiak &#8211; 44<\/p>\n<p>Sitka&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jessica Davis, Grace Harang, Sophia Schwantes\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kyleigh McArthur\u00a0<\/strong>began the meet with a win in the 4&#215;50 medley relay, taking the title in 1:49.80.<\/p>\n<p>Dimond&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Breckynn Willis\u00a0<\/strong>was one of two swimmers to crack the two-minute barrier in the 200 free, doing so in a winning time of 1:57.28. Palmer&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ellyse Russell\u00a0<\/strong>was second in 1:59.25. Willis then went on to be named champion in the 100 fly, touching the wall in 58.03 just ahead of Eagle River&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kiara Borchardt\u00a0<\/strong>(58.23).<\/p>\n<p>Seward&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lydia Jacoby\u00a0<\/strong>dropped nearly four seconds from her prelims swim to win the 200 IM in 2:09.31. She also bested the 100 breast field by over four seconds with a victorious time of 1:03.11.\u00a0Chugiak&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Izzy Powers\u00a0<\/strong>powered her way to a win in the splash-and-dash, earning the 50 free gold in a quick 23.92 as the only swimmer to sneak under the 24-second mark.<\/p>\n<p>Wasilla&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jayde Chan\u00a0<\/strong>dove to first on the 1-meter board with a final score of 419.20 ahead of Dimond&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jenna Walch\u00a0<\/strong>who took second with 403.25 points.\u00a0Dimond&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dreamer Kowatch\u00a0<\/strong>cruised to first in the 500 free, knocking off almost eight seconds from her morning time to earn the victory in 5:14.82<\/p>\n<p>Dimond&#8217;s Willis,\u00a0<strong>Brooke Dittlinger, Emi Soldwedel\u00a0<\/strong>and Kowatch combined to win the 4&#215;50 free relay in 1:40.40, out-touching Eagle River (1:40.91) and Palmer (1:40.92) for the honor. Willis, Soldwedel and Kowatch combined with\u00a0<strong>Mikayla Terry\u00a0<\/strong>to conclude the meet as 4&#215;100 free relay champions (3:38.19).<\/p>\n<p>Eagle River&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ellie Mercer\u00a0<\/strong>took the top spot in the 100 back with a swift 58.40 and Davis also broke the minute mark with a second-place showing in 58.88.<\/p>\n<h1>Boys&#8217; Meet<\/h1>\n<h2>Top 5 Team Scores:<\/h2>\n<p>1. Service &#8211; 114<br \/>\n2. Dimond &#8211; 99<br \/>\n3. Kodiak &#8211; 61.5<br \/>\n4. Eagle River &#8211; 60.5<br \/>\n5. Kenai Central &#8211; 32<\/p>\n<p>Service&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Brian Jarupakorn, Tavner Wisdom, Ian Sands\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Caleb Law\u00a0<\/strong>dominated the 4&#215;50 medley relay to open the boys&#8217; meet to win the event by six seconds in 1:34.00. Law split an impressive 19.89 on his freestyle leg; he then\u00a0went on to win the individual 50 free by 1.5 seconds in a quick 20.60 and bested the field in the 100 free for his third gold of the day with a time of 46.08.<\/p>\n<p>Dimond&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maximus Addington\u00a0<\/strong>cruised to victory in the 200 free in 1:42.31 to defend is State title ahead of his teammate\u00a0<strong>Jesse\u00a0Tatakis\u00a0<\/strong>(1:45.35).\u00a0Soldotna&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kylin Welch\u00a0<\/strong>dove to the gold medal in the 1-meter diving with a final score of 433.15 ahead of West Anchorage&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Houlton Dannenberg\u00a0<\/strong>who took second with 410.15 points.<\/p>\n<p>Jarupakorn shaved off almost two seconds from his morning swim to be named 100 fly champion with a final time of 50.47, just tenths ahead of Addington (50.65). Jarupakorn gave Service another win by taking the top spot in the 100 back in 51.50.<\/p>\n<p>Service&#8217;s Jarupakorn, Sands,\u00a0<strong>Austin Carpenter\u00a0<\/strong>and Law won the 4&#215;50 free relay in 1:25.47, five seconds faster than all other relay squads.\u00a0For the second time of the meet, Law dipped under 20 seconds and anchored his relay in 19.93.<\/p>\n<p>Eagle River&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>John\u00a0Heaphy\u00a0<\/strong>was one of two boys to crack two minutes in the 200 IM, finding himself on top of the podium in 1:56.16 ahead of Hutchison&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Noah Palmer\u00a0<\/strong>(1:59.24).
