NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Frisco, Texas’\u00a0Amelia Liu\u00a0<\/strong>has given her verbal commitment to Princeton University and will join the Tigers next fall.<\/p>\n

Liu does her club swimming with Metroplex Aquatics and owns a pair of U.S. Open standards. She capped off an extremely successful long course season with an 11th-place showing in the 50m and free and a 13th-place finish in the 200m free at Junior Nationals. She had six top-5 finishes at the American LCM meet and earned 100% best times at both College Station Sectionals in March and Juniors West last winter.\u00a0Also swimming for Frisco Reedy High School, Liu is a two-time USA Scholastic All-American.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am thrilled to announce my commitment to the application process at Princeton University. Princeton offers incredible academic opportunities and an amazing swim program, and I will gratefully attend if admitted.
