Andrew swam a 26.15 to collect his second silver medal of the night, but it was good enough to tie the American Record that\u00a0<strong>Cody Miller\u00a0<\/strong>held from the World Championships in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew moved up to 19th all-time in the event in a tie with Miller. This is not Andrew&#8217;s first American Record as he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/american-swimming-records-short-course-meters\/\">currently has the 50 back record<\/a> that he set two years ago in France. He improved on his best time that he swam in Budapest earlier this year with a 26.20, moving him up to sixth in the world this year. Andrew was already sixth, but broke the tie he had with Brazil&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Diego Prado<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew got his second silver medal of the night after he already got second in the 50 backstroke behind China&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Xu Jiayu<\/strong>.
