NEW COMMIT: <\/strong>Breaststroker\u00a0Markus Wennborg<\/strong> of Huntersville, North Carolina has given NC State an in-state verbal and will join the Wolfpack as a member of the class of 2023.<\/p>\n

Wennborg does his club swimming with SwimMAC Carolina and owns the Junior National standard in both breaststroke events. He notched 100% lifetime bests at Juniors this summer and had a trio of second-swims at the Charlotte UltraSwim in June. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American raced four events at Juniors East last winter where he recorded a best time in every event he swam.\u00a0Also swimming for Hopewell High School, Wennborg\u00a0placed third in the 100 breast and eighth in the 200 IM at the North Carolina 4A State Championships as a junior after winning the former at the West Regional meet.<\/p>\n
