NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>A native of Danville, Calif.,\u00a0Harry Flanders\u00a0<\/strong>will swim for the Indiana Hoosiers next fall after recently handing them a verbal commitment.<\/p>\n

Flanders does his club swimming with Orinda Aquatics and owns a pair of Winter Juniors cuts with a U.S. Open standard in the 100 fly. He recorded two best times at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Santa Clara over the summer and raced three events at Juniors West last winter. He won the 200 fly at the SCSC Senior Open in January and was a three-time finalist at Carlsbad Speedo Sectionals in March.<\/p>\n

Also swimming for San Ramon Valley, Flanders competed at the CIF State Championship during his junior season where he\u00a0finished eighth in the 100 fly and ninth in the 200 IM.\u00a0The NISCA All-American placed fourth in both events at the CIF-North Coast Sections a week prior.<\/p>\n
