That knocked more than two-tenths off of both records; the school record was a 51.71 from 2017, set by current junior <\/span><b>Vanessa Krause<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while the pool record was a 51.72 set by Ohio State\u2019s <\/span><b>Liz Li<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the 2016 Big Ten Championships. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her swim was within half a second of the NCAA A cut, and makes her the fastest woman in the country so far this season, just ahead of USC\u2019s <\/span><b>Louise Hansson <\/b>(51.56)\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and Louisville\u2019s <\/span><b>Grace Ogelsby\u00a0<\/b>(51.65)<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
