At YMCA Nationals in April, he posted four top-20 finishes which included a seventh-place showing in the 500 free. He was also a five-time finalist at NJ YMCA State Championships and won the 500 free at Rutgers&#8217; Holiday Classic last winter.\u00a0Rennard also swims for Christian Brothers Academy where he is the school record-holder in the 500 free and is a multi-time conference winner.<\/p>\n<p>He told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>&#8220;I knew Penn State was the perfect fit for me the second I stepped foot on campus. I can&#8217;t wait to be a Nittany Lion! We Are!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:43.06<\/li>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:30.45<\/li>\n<li>1000 free &#8211; 9:21.08<\/li>\n<li>1650 free &#8211; 15:51.38<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:55.17<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 3:57.87<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p>When he suits up for the Nittany Lions at the start of the 2019-20 season, he&#8217;ll join a distance training squad led by\u00a0<strong>Nathan Schiffmann<\/strong>.
