All will join their respective schools as member of the class of 2023.<\/p>\n<h1>Grace Lange &#8211; Boston University<\/h1>\n<p>The Danbury, Conn. native capped off her summer season with a 16th-place showing in the 400m IM at YMCA LCM Nationals after a trio of second swims at CT LCM Seniors. She achieved 100% best times at YMCA Nationals in April and made five finals appearances at NC Seniors in February.\u00a0Also competing for Danbury High School, Lange is a six-time Connecticut State Championship finalist.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u201cI chose Boston University for the welcoming team atmosphere and the diversity the city of Boston has to offer.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:52.23<\/li>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 5:00.91<\/li>\n<li>200 back &#8211; 2:07.39<\/li>\n<li>200 fly &#8211; 2:06.67<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:30.10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When she arrives in Boston next fall, Lange will join a mid-distance group that includes\u00a0<strong>Sydney Lee\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Carlyn Soares<\/strong>. She would&#8217;ve scored in the 200 free B-final at the 2018 Patriot League Championships where the Terriers finished fifth in the team standings.<\/p>\n<h1>Brenna McLaughlin &#8211; Villanova<\/h1>\n<p>Hailing from Milford, Conn., distance ace McLaughlin concluded her long course season at YMCA Nationals by finishing fourth in the mile, sixth in the 800m free and seventh in the 400m free. A Winter Juniors qualifier in the 1500m free, she placed fourth in the mile at NC Seniors and recorded two personal bests at CT Seniors last winter. She is also a four-time Connecticut State Championship finalist for Lauralton High School.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>\u201cI chose Villanova for the family-oriented team atmosphere and super supporting coaches.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:53.86<\/li>\n<li>500 free &#8211; 4:56.65<\/li>\n<li>1000 free &#8211; 10:06.06<\/li>\n<li>1650 free &#8211; 16:58.22<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:33.95<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>McLaughlin will add valuable distance depth to the Wildcats&#8217; lineup when she suits up next fall. She would&#8217;ve scored in the A-final of the 500 free and mile at the 2018 Big East Championships\u00a0where Villanova won their fifth-straight conference crown.<\/p>\n<h1>Katie Stevenson &#8211; William &amp; Mary<\/h1>\n<p>A two-time Winter Juniors qualifier, Stevenson placed sixth in the 100m free and seventh in the 100m fly at this past summer&#8217;s YMCA Nationals. She notched 100% lifetime bests at both the TYR Pro Swim Series in Columbus and YMCA Nationals in April.\u00a0The Wilton, Conn. native also swims for Wilton High School and has finaled three times at the Connecticut State Championships.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>\u201cI chose William and Mary for the amazing coaching staff and welcoming team.
