She raced three events at Carlsbad Speedo Sectionals and won the 200 free at the Memorial Summers End Classic. Engs has been a key relay swimmer for Miramonte High School at the CIF State Championships during her sophomore and junior seasons. She also placed 11th in the 100 free and 14th in the 200 free at CIF-North Sections last season.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #bfbf06;\"><strong>&#8220;I am so honored to announce my verbal commitment to continue my swimming and academic career at UC Davis. A huge thanks to my family, friends, and coaches for supporting me through this process. Go Aggies!!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 free &#8211; 24.44<\/li>\n<li>100 free &#8211; 52.49<\/li>\n<li>200 free &#8211; 1:54.35<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:09.81<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When Engs suits up for the Aggies next fall, she&#8217;ll join a sprint group that includes\u00a0<strong>Jamie\u00a0<\/strong><b>Pinyin<\/b>\u00a0and<b>\u00a0Mia Cunnan<\/b>.
