NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Fort Wayne, Ind. native\u00a0Julian Norman\u00a0<\/strong>will make his way to Baton Rouge next fall with his recent verbal commitment to Louisiana State University.<\/p>\n

A butterfly specialist, Norman is also a solid IMer and distance freestyler who owns the Junior National cut in the 200 fly swimming year-round for SWAC Swim Team. He earned a pair of best times at Cary Futures over the summer which included a ninth-place showing in the 200m fly after placing fourth in that event at the Indiana Senior LCM Championships in July. He was a four-time finalist at the Indiana Senior SCY Championships and won the 200 fly and 200 free at the Cardinal Christmas Classic last winter.\u00a0Norman is also a four-time Indiana State Championship finalist for Homestead High School after finishing\u00a0fourth in the 200 free and eighth in the 500 free during both his sophomore and junior seasons.<\/p>\n
