The Big Ten Conference continues its swimming & diving season with a handful of meets this week.<\/p>\n

One of the most intriguing matchups to start this Big Ten Conference season is Michigan hosting Northwestern for a two-day meet on Friday and Saturday at Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor.<\/p>\n

The Michigan women are ranked No. 3 and looking for another big season after finishing fourth at the NCAA Division I Championships in March. The Wolverines return a ton of talent, led by Siobhan Haughey, Catie DeLoof, Miranda Tucker<\/strong> and Rose Bi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Northwestern women are also much improved and are an honorable mention ranking in the first poll of the season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This will be the first meet of the season for the Wildcats, who are looking to continue that build, led by Calypso Sheridan<\/strong>. The Aussie swimmer set two school records at the Big Ten Championships and qualified for NCAAs in the 200 breast and 400 IM.<\/p>\n

It will be a good gauge to open the season for the Wildcats, going up against one of the country\u2019s best teams right out of the gate.<\/p>\n

The Wolverines are coming off of season-opening wins over Oakland University and Miami (Ohio).<\/p>\n

The Michigan men are ranked No. 6, led by Felix Aubock, James Jones, Jacob Montague, Ricardo Vargas<\/strong> and divers Jake Herremans<\/strong> and Collin DeShaw<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Wildcats are not ranked on the men\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Minnesota will host Florida State. The Gophers are ranked No. 18 in the men\u2019s poll, while the Seminoles are No. 20. The Minnesota women are ranked No. 13 and the Seminoles are No. 25.<\/p>\n

Also on Saturday, Illinois will swim along with Southern Illinois, at Illinois State.<\/p>\n
