NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Pointe-Claire, Quebec’s\u00a0Aela Janvier\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her verbal commitment to the University of Southern California and will join the Trojans as a member of the class of 2023.<\/p>\n

Janvier, who swims for Pointe-Claire Swim Club, had an incredibly strong showing at Canadian Trials in July where she finished third in the 200m back and sixth in the 100m back with three other top-10 finishes.\u00a0At the Eastern Canadian Championships, she won the 100m back and 200m IM and was the 200m breast runner-up. Janvier recorded a pair of best times and was a seven-time finalist at the Canadian Championships in April. At 2017 Canadian Juniors, she earned three golds in the 200m breast and both IMs.<\/p>\n
