NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Talented breaststroker\u00a0Alina Jones\u00a0<\/strong>of Fairfax, Va. has declared her verbal intention to swim for Vanderbilt beginning in the fall of 2019.<\/p>\n

Jones does her club swimming with Nation’s Capital and has achieved the Junior National standard in both breaststroke distances. She raced four events at NCSAs this summer after recording a pair of lifetime bests at the spring championships. She is a five-time Virginia 6A State Championship finalist for WT Woodson; Jones finished seventh in the 100 breast as a freshman and fifth during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
