Hansson, meanwhile, took the 100y fly and 100y free.<\/p>\n<p>Valente won the men\u2019s 100y fly with an NCAA B cut of 47.26, edging sophomore teammate <strong>Nikola<\/strong> <strong>Miljenic<\/strong> (47.49) and senior teammate <strong>Kyle Grissom<\/strong> (48.91). He complemented the win with one in the 200y fly in another NCAA B cut of 1:46.27 while sophomore <strong>Mark Jurek<\/strong> was second in 1:48.74. Walker Bell tied for third (1:50.03).<\/p>\n<p>The Trojans went 1-2-3 in the women\u2019s 100y breast led by defending Pac-12 champ Scott\u2019s 1:00.55 with redshirt junior <strong>Kirsten Vose<\/strong> second (1:01.12) and sophomore <strong>Maggie Aroesty<\/strong> third (1:01.39), all NCAA B cuts. Freshman Isa Odgers was fourth (1:02.35). Junior <strong>Mario Koenigsperger<\/strong> led USC in the men\u2019s race in fourth (54.53).<\/p>\n<p>Scott later led a quintet of Trojans atop the women&#8217;s 200y breast standings with a 2:08.13 for her second win of the day, about a second off her season-best last season. Aroesty (2:12.89), the defending Pac-12 champ in the race also posted an NCAA B time with Odgers third (2:14.04), <strong>Piper Brockley<\/strong> fourth (2:15.36) and Lara Bate fifth (2:17.62).<\/p>\n<p>Hansson, the defending NCAA and Pac-12 champ in the 100y fly, won her specialty in 51.56 while sophomore <strong>Caitlin Tycz<\/strong> (52.99), senior <strong>Maddie Wright<\/strong> (53.49) and junior <strong>Catherine Sanchez<\/strong> (53.67) went 3-4-5, joining Hansson with NCAA B cuts.<\/p>\n<p>Hansson doubled up Saturday with her win in the 100y free in 47.94 with Vose third in 49.51, both NCAA B cuts. They sandwiched former Trojan <strong>Kasia Wilk<\/strong>, second in 48.67. Vose and Wilk were part of USC&#8217;s 400y free relay title in 2016. Miljenic led USC in the men\u2019s 100y free with a 43.89, 0.09 off the NCAA B cut, while <strong>Thomas Reed<\/strong> posted a 45.09.<\/p>\n<p>Redshirt junior <strong>Hanni Leach<\/strong> topped the collegians in the women\u2019s 100y back with a 53.98, 0.22 out of first. Junior Abby Miller was third (56.38). Senior <strong>Patrick Mulcare<\/strong> was USC\u2019s top finisher in the men\u2019s race (47.20, NCAA B cut) as his former teammate, <strong>Dylan Carter<\/strong>, touched in 45.77, a USC pool record.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman <strong>Alexei Sancov<\/strong> topped USC swimmers in the 200y free in 1:35.82 with an NCAA B cut, freshman <strong>Viktor Johansson<\/strong> fifth (1:38.35). Junior <strong>Tatum Wade<\/strong> led Troy\u2019s women in second (1:46.79, NCAA B) while <strong>Maddie Meisel<\/strong> was fifth (1:49.65).<\/p>\n<p>Jurek took second in the 400y IM (3:55.41) to top USC\u2019s efforts with Bell third (3:55.57). Senior <strong>Elizabeth Stinson<\/strong> led Troy in the women\u2019s 400y IM in fourth (4:27.76).<\/p>\n<p>Stinson came back to win the women\u2019s 1000y free in 9:54.01, leading a Trojan 1-2-3 as senior <strong>Allie<\/strong> <strong>Wooden<\/strong> was second (10:01.56) and sophomore <strong>Isabella Rongione<\/strong> third (10:09.68).<\/p>\n<p>Johansson followed Friday&#8217;s win in the 500y free with a victory in the 1000y free in 8:57.14 with fellow freshman <strong>Owen Kao<\/strong> second (9:17.35).<\/p>\n<p>Leach led all Trojans in the women&#8217;s 200y back in 1:59.54 with Miller fourth (2:02.62). Mulcare topped collegiate entries in the men&#8217;s 200y back in 1:42.94.<\/p>\n<p>Koenigsperger (1:58.74) and <strong>Billy Monjay<\/strong> (2:00.55) went 3-4 to lead USC swimmers in the men&#8217;s 200y breast.
