NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>West Hartford, Conn. native\u00a0Patrick Keith\u00a0<\/strong>has announced his verbal intention to stay in-state and swim for Southern Connecticut State University beginning in the fall of 2019.<\/p>\n

Keith swims year-round with\u00a0Mandell Jewish Community Center Sharks under head coach\u00a0Dave Laudati.\u00a0<\/strong>He raced both backstroke events at CT Senior LCM Championships this summer and recorded a pair of top-5 finishes at 2016 Eastern Zones. He also swims for William Hall High School and has competed twice at the Connecticut State Championships.<\/p>\n

He told Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the moment I first walked on to campus for my unofficial to leaving campus post-official, I knew Southern was my future home.
