\nSPA\/TBAY JANUARY $1.50 MEET
\nTampa Bay Aquatics Countryside scored 3,221.5 points to grab the combined team title at the St. Petersburg Aquatics\/Tampa Bay $1.50 Meet Jan. 12-13 in St. Petersburg, Fla. The Sarasota YMCA Sharks placed second (2407 points), with Piranhas YMCA Palm Harbor third (1887.5), St. Petersburg Aquatics fourth (1861) and Berkeley Barracudas (547).<\/p>\n

COLLEGE
\nBRANDEIS\/BRIDWATER\/BOSTON COLLEGE
\nFor the first time since 2010, when pool issues forced the Brandeis swim program to disband, the Judges won a men’s dual meet. They defeated the Bridgewater State Bears during a tri-meet with Boston College Jan. 11, 158-124. <\/p>\n
The meet was held Jan. 11 at the Boston College home pool in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Brandeis’ men’s team lost to Boston College, 160-110; the Eagles also defeated Bridgewater State, 186-103.<\/p>\n
Boston College’s women’s team defeated Brandeis in their dual meet, 156-98.<\/p>\n

CONNECTICUT COLLEGE VS. KEENE STATE
\nAustin Harris, Marc Marois and Kaila Umburger swam their final home meets for Keene State College Jan. 16 against the Connecticut College Camels. The Owls prevailed in both parts of the meet; the men wound up with an 182-105 victory, while the Owl women defeated the Camels 192-96. <\/p>\n
Keene State will compete in its last dual meet of the 2012-13 season Saturday, visiting Bentley College. The Owls will then prepare for the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Championships and, perhaps, the NCAA Division 3 Championships.<\/p>\n
