NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The Cowboys have rounded up a verbal commitment from Suquamish, Wash. native\u00a0Aron Markow\u00a0<\/strong>who will arrive at the\u00a0University of Wyoming next fall.<\/p>\n

Markow does his club swimming with Poulsbo Piranha Swim Team and has reached the Winter Juniors standard in the 100 breast. He raced at Santa Clara Futures over the summer and earned a pair of best times at the Pacific Northwest Senior LCM Championships. He notched a 50 free personal best at Juniors West last winter and swam four events at Federal Way Speedo Sectionals in March.<\/p>\n

Representing Kingston High School at the Washington 2A State Championships as a junior, Markow was the 100 breast runner-up and placed sixth in the 50 free. He finished ninth in the 100 breast at the 3A State meet during his sophomore season for Bainbridge.<\/p>\n
