USA Swimming selected a new board of directors on Saturday at the United States Aquatic Sports (USAS) Convention in Jacksonville, Florida.<\/p>\n

Chris Brearton, Cecil Gordon, Jeannette Skow, Jay Thomas, Tom Ugast<\/strong> and Robert Vincent\u00a0<\/strong>are among the newly elected Board members.<\/p>\n

The House of Delegates elected six at-large Directors, at least two of whom will be \u201csemi-independent\u201d (individuals with a demonstrable connection to the sport, but who have not previously been members of the House of Delegates).<\/p>\n

USA Swimming, the national governing body for the sport of swimming in the United States, today announced the newly elected members of its restructured Board of Directors. The organization\u2019s more than 600 House of Delegates members elected six At-Large Directors, while the Athletes Committee yesterday elected three Athlete Directors, at the yearly convention in Jacksonville, Fla.<\/p>\n
