Smith finished second in 4:01.63.<\/p>\n<p>Russia\u2019s <strong>Anna Egorova<\/strong> was third in 4:04.65, followed by the Spanish trio of <strong>Catalina Corro<\/strong> (4:06.15), <strong>Mireia the fast swimming going for the first men\u2019s event of the meet, winning the 400 freestyle in 3:39.52.<\/p>\n<p>He led the entire race.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Blake Pieroni<\/strong> of the U.S. was second in 3:41.79, followed by Germany\u2019s <strong>Poul Zellmann<\/strong> (3:43.50).<\/p>\n<p>Hungary\u2019s <strong>Daniel Dudas<\/strong> was fourth (3:44.02, followed by <strong>Maarten different event, the 100 individual medley \u2014\u00a0and the event was packed with stars trying go get the best of this IM sprint.<\/p>\n<p>Hungary\u2019s <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> won the event in 57.44, leading the entire way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kathleen Baker<\/strong> of the U.S. finished second in 58.14, holding off Australia\u2019s <strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong> (58.36) and Sweden\u2019s <strong>Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> (58.42).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> of the Netherlands was fifth (58.69), followed by <strong>Melanie Margalis<\/strong> of the U.S. <strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong> was happy to get a chance at the 100 individual medley again. It is an event that is not always a part of international competition.<\/p>\n<p>But it was at the Eindhoven World Cup stop, and Morozov made the most of it, setting a world record with a swim of 50.26.<\/p>\n<p>His time broke the previous record of 50.30 that he also held, setting that mark in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Japan\u2019s <strong>Daiya Seto<\/strong> finished second in 51.40, followed by <strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong> of the U.S. (51.76).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kosuke Matsui<\/strong> of Japan followed with a 52.56, ahead of <strong>Kyle Stolk<\/strong> of the Netherlands capture a home victory in the 50 backstroke, with three strong swimmers in the event from the host country.<\/p>\n<p>But Brazil\u2019s <strong>Etiene Medeiros<\/strong> spoiled it for at least one event, winning the 50 back in 26.07.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> finished second in 26.10, followed by Dutch compatriot <strong>Kira Toussaint<\/strong> (26.13).<\/p>\n<p>Australia\u2019s <strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong> was fourth (26.18), followed by Russia\u2019s <strong>Mariia Kameneva<\/strong> (26.30), Kathleen Baker (26.44) of the U.S. and 200 backstroke race.<\/p>\n<p>But a 27.28 split in the final 50 surged Larkin to victory in 1:49.75.<\/p>\n<p>Ryosuke finished second in 1:50.15 after leading through the 150 mark.<\/p>\n<p>Poland\u2019s <strong>Radoslaw Kawecki<\/strong> finished third in 1:52.42, followed by Russia\u2019s <strong>Grigory Tarasevich<\/strong> (1:52.45).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_330949\" Eindhoven ended with a stacked 50 freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the top swimmers in the world went head-to-head in a classic battle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> of the Netherlands held off Sweden\u2019s<strong> Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> by four tenths of a second.<\/p>\n<p>Kromowidjojo won in 23.26, followed by Sjostrom (23.67).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> of the Netherlands finished third (23.77), followed by Russia\u2019s <strong>Mariia Kameneva<\/strong> (24.07), <strong>Kim Busch<\/strong> of the Netherlands (24.09), Brazil\u2019s <strong>Etiene
