NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The Fighting Irish have picked up a new verbal commitment from\u00a0Charles Korndorffer,\u00a0<\/strong>who will make his way to Indiana from New Orleans, La. next fall.<\/p>\n

Korndorffer does his club swimming with Nu Wave Swim Club and owns a pair of U.S. Open cuts. He won the 50m fly at NCSA Championships over the summer and was a two-time champion at the Louisiana LCM Championship. He made five finals appearances at NCSAs in March – including a third-place showing in the 50 fly – and finished 15th in the 100 fly at Juniors West in December.<\/p>\n

He also swims for Jesuit High School where he is a five-time LHSAA DI State Championships finalist.\u00a0He won the 100 fly and 100 back as a junior to help his team win the State title en route to being named Swimmer of the Meet after setting D1 records in his events.\u00a0The NISCA All-American finished second in both of those events as a sophomore.<\/p>\n
