NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Southern Methodist has earned a new verbal commitment from\u00a0Raegen Willis,\u00a0<\/strong>the\u00a0Plymouth, Minn. native who will join the Mustangs as part of the class of 2023.<\/p>\n

Willis does her club swimming with Minnetonka Swim Club under head coach\u00a0Erich Welton.\u00a0<\/strong>At the MN Senior LCM Championships in July, she finaled in the 100m back and posted a pair of best times at the Aquajets Summer Invite. She was a two-time ISCA Junior finalist and raced in two events at the MN Senior Championships in March.<\/p>\n

Willis is five-time MSHSL Class 2A State Championship finalist for Minnetonka High School.\u00a0As a junior, she finished seventh in the 100 fly and eighth in the 100 back; she placed 16th and eighth in those respective events during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
